Alex Bologna

Sound Mixer

Alex is a sound designer from Palos Verdes, CA. Alex found a passion for sound while studying at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where he was able to collaborate with many filmmakers and experiment with the art of sound. He was taught by professors who worked on Apollo 13, Captain America and Pulp Fiction. After graduating he started working as an editor for Bravo TV, which gave him the opportunity to build his technical knowledge while also working on passion projects. 

Alex has sound designed feature films such as Death of a Telemarketer (2020), Brut Force (2022), and Dreams in Nightmares (2024). He has also worked on branded content for Apple, Universal, and Netflix. Alex brings both experience and a love of filmmaking to every project. He is capable of getting as nerdy as necessary when collaborating with a director. Whether it's a reference to an obscure Italian movie from the 60s or a modern-day cult classic, he is ready for anything.
